Hi,
I was just reading Suzanne Somers' new book, Breakthrough. Although I can't agree with everthing she writes, I did get some interesting information from it. One of these was that Iodine can reduce the fibrocystic lumps or even get rid of them entirely! She recommends a product called Iodoral 12.5 Mgs. It might be worth a try...

I have been reading Suzanne Somers' new book, Breakthrough. I just wanted to share some of the important points that she makes in this book.
1. A big part of an Oncologist's salary comes from bonuses from administering chemotherapy! P. 78
2. Iodine can reverse and even cure fibrocystic breasts! The brand they recommend is called Iodoral in a dose of 10 to 12 milligrams a day. p. 39
3. Cimetidine (Tagamet) interferes with cancer cell progression, is cheap and side effect free. p.78
4. Iscador is a immune boosting product (as is RM-10, by the way)derived from mistletoe, that builds up your immune system so you can fight cancer. p. 67
5. Melatonin is a powerful antioxidant hormone that captures free radicals. It also helps you to sleep. I have heard this from cancer patients several times. p. 116

I will start carrying this book for my customers at healthfoodemporium.com so you can read for yourself. I don't agree with everything she says, but it is absolutely an education worth getting!

Hi Margaret,
What Lora did and what my other friend Wands did, was take 9 RM-10 Regular a day, 3 Primal Defense a day, and go on the Maker's Diet which removes all sugar and white flour from your diet. They also took cod liver oil, melatonin, goatein, Mt Capra Mineral Whey, and Perfect Food. I am not an expert on these things, but my understanding was that the cod liver oil was important. I don't really understand the melatonin unless it was just to help them sleep, but I have heard that more than once. The Mineral Whey and the Perfect Food help to keep your body's acid/alkaline score in order. And the Goatein was for nutrition. I will continue to look into it and let you know what I find. Gail

I am a 26 year old female who has had silicone breast implants for 5 years, they were put in in Southamerica, and I feel this little balls in my left breast and I don't know how to go about it,, for Im afraid my doctor would suggest something that would be harmful and I don't know what alternatives I have. also could implants have anything to do with cancer? I'm just clueless in this subject. I greatly appreciate your advice, thank you.

I also have metastatic breast cancer that has spread to my bones, my skull, my spine, my ribs, my pelvic bones I have one in my hip joint.
I have been on garden of life digestive enzymes for a long time. My dr. recommended RM.10 and I started on it recently, I would like to see those cancer no. go down, mine are from 200 and down to 165. I would be willing to try most anything. I am on herceptin for the cancer and I am afraid it is damaging my heart. I have been on it for 3 yrs. with no plans to stop.

My name is margret richardson and I was diagnosed with breast cancer 10 yrs. ago, oct.98. I had a lumpectomy and radiation. I refused the chemo, they told me it had a 15% chance of helping me, I really wanted some better assurance than that. The radiation had a 95% chance that I would never have it again in that breast, 3 yrs. later I had it in that breast again, so I don,t trust much. I had my breast removed and 3 months later I had more on the same spot. I refused radiation that time because they could not tell me why it didn,t work the first time. Also they had told me that once you had radiation, you could never have it again in the same place. I found out in 2005 that it had spread to my bones, I was put on herceptin and Zometa for my bones. The herceptin has helped with the cancer and the Zometa has helped with the bones. Now I am concerned the herceptin is damaging my heart. I am so scared of those drugs and scared to get off them.
I take lots of supplements and would love any advice out there

Thank you Liz,
I am glad you have started a discussion and another place we can look for information. I am hoping that women will start to look closer at standard hormone replacement treatment and make educated decisions, instead of being led like cattle to the slaughter. Thank you!

Hi Gail,

I wanted to comment on the info you have on Dr. Lee and Progesterone. I think the Dr. Lee bandwagon is starting to slow down. With new studies etc, it's becoming more known, that transdermal Progesterone will NOT protect the uterus (I know, as I got uterine cancer at a young age while on it)

I invite you to listen to Dr. Vliet. Or read her books. She is so on top of women's health!

I have also have had other major negative effects since my hyst, from progesterone cream as have many other women.

Here's a link to Dr. Vliet's site. She's a MAJOR advocate for women.

http://herplace.com/

Her radio shows have been quite interesting and enlightening.

Kindly,

Liz Vernand
