Jordan Rubin’s Beyond Organic
Beyond Organic Insider, Jordan Rubin’s new Company
I just came back from the Beyond Organic Insider conference in Florida! Wow! As usual, Jordan is doing a really great job. He is using old world methods to raise his animals without pesticides, vaccinations, fungicides or antibiotics at all. He is raising the cattle in pastures, on green food only, and he is passionate about the animal kindness standards on his ranch.
To keep the dairy raw, he is heating it to 101 degrees (cow body temperature) and keeping it there for a longer period of time so that the nasty bacteria are killed, but the proteins, vitamins and Omega 3s remain intact. He is even processing the dairy products on the same ranch as the milking is done. And he will invite everyone to come and see what he is doing so that we all know that he is doing what he says he is doing!
I have to say that I am impressed. I have to admit to being a little leery of this new project, but I had a chance to taste the Amasai and the Chocolate, and they are terrific! I don’t drink any dairy except goats milk kefir. My stomach is terrible. But I was able to drink the Amasai (basically kefir) and I did not get sick! And his Amasai should be better for me than the goats milk kefir because it is processed more gently and has a high fat content (4.5) that appears to be digestible for me. That is really exciting!
And the chocolate is fabulous! It is dark chocolate filled up with Flax seeds! Jordan has added probiotics too! I have to say that it was really addictive.
And people are excited. They offered us a chance to sign up to be Marketers at the conference. Well, of course I need to be a Marketer, I need to offer the products to my customers! And they allowed us to buy a package of some of each of the products so we are sure to get it early. Well! There were so many people clamoring to get signed up and order their food packs, that they have opened it up to the public early. So, if you decide to go and get yours, just click here, sign up to be an insider, then go back to the website and sign in with the number they will give you, and go to the back office. There is a link there for the application to be a Marketer and to order your foods. You can fax it in to the number on the form, and you will be assured to get your packs first! There are already 28,000 people signed up (to buy or market the products, not to buy the food packs, yet), so I would do it if I were you and I wanted to get in on the fun!
Things are moving along very quickly now. Basically, all the information I am about to give you is on the back office of the website now. They are not charging credit cards until October, so if you want to be a Marketer, or even a founder, please read the information that is with the application very carefully. If you need any help, please let me know.
What are the products and what do they cost?
This is the big one that everyone has been waiting for. So here goes:
Amasi: I think this is the one that I am the most excited about. Jordan is using old world methods to keep his dairy products under 101 degrees so, technically raw, and killing bad bacteria with a very low heat process that is longer, to allow the bad bacteria to die off, without killing the vitamins and proteins that are in the milk. Then, he ferments it with 30 probiotics for way longer than industry standard, to develop this great product that has very low lactose (because the lactose breaks down in fermentation), very high in vitamins, Omega 3 fats, and protein. The animals are kept under humane conditions and only milked as much as their green diet and their individual systems will allow. The result? A whole milk (4.5%), kefir type of product that is supposed to be digestible by even the worst digestive tracts among us. (I include my self since I drink Goat’s milk kefir every day). I had a chance to try this at the convention. I drank about 8 oz and I didn’t get an upset stomach at all! Amasi will be available in Milk and honey, Berry and Plain flavors.
The price for Amasi is $6.25 (retail) for a 16 oz bottle, and they are available in a case of 6 for $30. (You get a 20% discount as a preferred customer or a Mission Marketer)
Raw Cheese: Again, the cheese is processed at very low temperatures so that it is technically raw, and the cows are green fed (no grain), humanely treated, and milked humanely. No pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics, fungicides, vaccinations or hormones are used on the land or the cattle! This cheese is 7 percent protein, and high in Omega 3, Omega 6, vitamins and minerals. In addition, extra probiotics are added to the cheese. It will be available in Cheddar, Havarti, or Blue Cheddar.
Raw Cheese will be available for a retail price of $18.75, or preferred price of $15 per pound. I know that this is a great price because I pay $32 a pound for the goat milk cheese that I usually eat!
Reign: is spring water, straight out of the ground and purified and filtered by the rock it comes out of. There is a specific geologic formation in the rocks that brings it out clean and pure from a protected area in the United States. Reign will retail for $1.04, Preferred price is $.83 per 16.9 oz bottle in cases of 24.
Reign Infusions are this perfect spring water infused with fruits, veggies or an uplifting spice combination. The fruit is from Mango and Alma berry, the Veggies include beets and other veggies, and the Spice is green coffee berry, cacao and cinnamon! These are strained down to just the mico-particles, and then added to the spring water. Wow! Reign Infusions will sell for $2.60 retail, or $2.08 preferred price for a 16.9 oz bottle, and there will be 24 in a case.
Chocolate! The organic dark chocolate is made in italy with flax seeds, Omega 3s, probiotics, fiber and antioxidants. It is GMO free. We had a chance to try this at the convention, and it was fabulous!!! The chocolate will sell for $$3.43 retail or $2.72 preferred price for a 35 gram bar, in cases of 12.
Beef. The beef will be one of the products that will be somewhat seasonal (As well as the cheese). There will be some steaks and roasts, but it will be more ground beef and beef hot dogs than steaks because the steaks will go so quickly when they are available. (The website will post the products that are available on a daily basis, so everyone has the same chance to get what is available when it comes up.) The beef cattle are finished on entirely green food, with no hormones, grain, antibiotics, pesticides, vaccinations, etc. The cattle are processed in a biblical, kosher way, that is more humane and yields a more nutritious product. Jordan is passionate about the animal’s humane treatment. The beef will retail for $10 a lb, or a preffered price of $8 a lb, for ground beef, and $8 for 12 oz package of hot dogs.
And, the next really exciting product? SueroViv. SueroViv is a probiotic water product made from the whey of the raw cheese. It is extremely high in probiotics, calcium, electrolytes, and potassium. It is a tonic elixir that is perfect as a sports drink and similar to kombucha, but as healthy, or more healthy, than coconut water. SueroViv will retail for $3.75, or a preferred price of $3, per 16.9 oz bottle in cases of 24. It will come in Citrus, Berry or Ginger flavor.
The Founders package: The first 10,000 people who want them, can buy a founder’s package if they are signing up as Mission Marketers with the $199 package instead of the $39 package. The Founder’s package is a selection of some of each of the new products. These will allow you to try them out and share them with your friends. The founder’s package is $399. You are limited to 2 packages, and they will be gone after the first 10,000. (There are only 10,000 packages. People at the conference were all buying 4 packages, and there were 1200 of us there. You can go online and fill out the forms and fax them in before July 31st to the number on the form, but they are going really fast.) If you want a shot at becoming a founder, and getting a percentage of the company profit, you MUST buy a founder’s package. These packages will not be charged or shipped until October.
The Beyond Organic Insider period is over officially on October 15th. After that, you cannot become a Founder, or earn Founder’s points if you are successful, or buy a founder’s package.
Here at Health Food Emporium, we will offer you a way to buy the products without being a marketer. But you will want to be a preferred customer ($19.95 a year) so you can get the foods at the 20% discount. So why not spend the extra $20, just in the first year, and become a Marketer, just in case your family wants the same great foods that you will have? They are not taking applications for Preferred customers yet, but they are for Mission Marketers, so…. And they are not charging the credit cards until October for the Marketers applications either.
Can you tell that I am sold? Well, you’re right. I’m afraid that Jordan has sold me on his vision for real foods, really made the way that they say on the label. Not just organic, but with standards that are way above and Beyond Organic. Can he pull it off? Only time will tell, but he is backing it himself, with no bank loans or creditors to answer to. So… I think he will do it. I do think, however, that the demand for the foods is going to be crazy, so there will be a shortage for the first year or so until he can get enough animals on the ground, that meet his standards, to meet the demand.

Is Beyond Organic available in Canada?
If not, can a canadian join the program and have products
sent to a US address?

Hello, no Beyond Organic is not set up to ship to Canada yet. If you do not sign up as a marketer, just a retail or preferred customer, and you use a US address, you are free to have the products shipped to your US address. They are hoping to overcome the problems of shipping to Canada within 3 years.
