Why use Exogenous Ketones when in Ketosis?

Entering the Keto Zone is the most natural and effective way to increase your energy, enhance your cognitive performance, and burn stubborn belly fat all day long.

When your body enters a state of ketosis, it starts burning ketones for fuel instead of glucose. Many people consider this ketone-burning state to be a cleaner burn than the one from burning glucose alone.

If you’ve looked into following a ketogenic diet, you’ve probably heard about supplementing with exogenous ketones at least once.

Your body produces ketones, most prominently BHB, when it is starved of glucose for fuel. This naturally happens while following a keto diet. Some people find it beneficial to also supplement with exogenous ketones in supplement form to serve as an additional source of energy.

Beta-hydroxybutyrate (BHB) is the most abundant naturally occurring ketone in the blood when the body is in ketosis.

BHB salts are being used by many people all over the world to instantly enter the Keto Zone. This is a new kind of ketogenic supplement that supplies the body with exogenous (externally sourced) ketones, as opposed to the endogenous (internally sourced) ketones produced by the liver.

Exogenous BHB is the same molecular structure as the BHB that is produced by your liver, and you can supplement with it in the form of an exogenous ketone supplement. Exogenous ketones from BHB salts can put you into the Keto Zone within an hour and allow you to avoid the symptoms of “keto flu” as you make the transition to becoming a fat-burning machine.

Here’s why they’re great:

  • They help your body avoid the keto flu by giving it more of the energy it needs immediately
  • Increases cognitive function so you’ll think more sharply and clearly
  • Can help with increasing energy
  • When used while in ketosis it improves blood sugar control and heart health
  • Helps you burn fat while in ketosis and alleviates food cravings

Exogenous ketones are gaining more popularity because of these effects. When looking for a supplement of your own, now you’ll know that Beta-hydroxybutyrate (BHB) is actually not a scary chemical; it’s a molecule your body already produces that can provide you an incredible source of clean fuel.
