Do you suffer from Crohn’s Disease? You need to read this page!

From chapter one of Patient Heal Thyself, by Jordan Rubin:

“My search for an answer for my Crohn’s disease sent me further and further from home. I traveled to clinics all over the world, oftentimes in a wheelchair. As I mentioned, I went to the offices of 70 health professionals from seven different countries-in Europe, South America, Mexico, and Canada. As my search grew more frantic and desperate, at times I was grasping for straws.

I tried two or three treatments that no rational person would consider. I know what it’s like to be desperate, willing to try anything. I tried almost 500 different “miracle” products. I was the victim-and I choose that word carefully-of many well-meaning network marketing distributors of health products who made outrageous and unfounded claims. So much of what passes for scientifically validated nutritional supplementation is shamelessly promoted through network marketing or multi-level marketing and truly has little, if any, scientific substance.

Most times promises are best kept, but, occasionally, times arise when a promise broken is best. It had been ten months since I had taken any supplements, and although my father had promised he wouldn’t send me anything else to try, he decided to send me something anyway. It was a plastic bag containing black powder. I had already tried over thirty different probiotics. Now was I supposed to eat this stuff that looked like dirt?

“Forget it,” I thought. My dad called on the phone and urged me to give it a try. “It may look like dirt, but it isn’t,” he said. “It contains healthy organisms from the soil.”

“An article that accompanied the package explained that these were the nutrients missing from today’s pesticide-sterilized, barren soils-not only trace minerals but organisms (Homeostatic Soil
Organisms, or HSOs, as I later named them). These were living organisms that had been wiped out by the pesticide treatment of America’s farm lands, pasteurization of foods, and modern man’s disdain for all microorganisms-even those life-supportive bugs our bodies need for great health.”

Jordan Rubin recovered completely from Crohn’s Disease! He went on to develop Primal Defense (the HSOs as he named them), and Omega-zyme (the most powerful enzyme product on the market) to help repair the digestive and immune systems. I have listed these products and his first book, Patient Heal Thyself below.

Chronic Digestive Disease

  • Celiac Disease
  • Crohn’s Disease
  • Diverticulitis
  • Ulcerative Colitis
  • Ulcers

Chronic digestive diseases usually involve an intestinal condition characterzed by a combination of abdominal pain; constipation; increased secretion of colon-related mucus; and dyspeptic symptoms such as flatulence,
nausea, anorexia, and varying degrees of anxiety or depression. Each condition has specific causes and symptoms as well. Celiac disease is characterized by gluten intolerance and severe wasting. Crohn’s disease is
condition in which the intestinal wall thickens and causes narrowing of the bowel channel, blocking the intestinal tract. Divericulitis is inflammation of an abnormal pouch or sac opening from a hollow organ (as the
intestine or bladder). Ulcerative colitis is a nonspecific inflammatory disease of the colon of unknown cause characterized by diarrhea with discharge of mucus and blood, cramping abdominal pain, and inflammation
and edema of the mucous membrane with patches of ulceration. An ulcer involves a break in the gastrointestinal mucous membrane with loss of surface tissue, disintegration and necrosis of epithelial tissue.
The onset for chronic digestive diseases peak during young adulthood, although gastronintestinal ulcers afflict persons of all ages. Restoration of the balance of friendly bacteria to the gastrointestinal tract is
essential to recovery. The complete avoidance of disaccharide-containing foods such as grains, most beans, sugar, maple syrup, noncultured fluid dairy products (milk and ice cream), potatoes and corn is a must in
order to heal the digestive tract and improve the microbial balance.
