I have been listening to glowing reports from many of my customers about Dr Colbert’s new Hormone Health Zone book and about his new Homone Zone and Thyroid Zone products.  Below is a short excerpt from this new book.

“The root cause of many diseases and ailments associated with aging—obesity, prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, fatigue, depression, stress overload, heart disease, high cholesterol, and hypertension—is usually suboptimal hormone levels, including sex hormones, thyroid hormones, and adrenal hormones. Yes, diet and nutrition are important, but optimizing your hormones is absolutely the key to feeling great, losing weight, and having energy, vitality, passion, stamina, and strength.

It seems to me, that everyone should read this book.  We all need to know how to talk to our doctors about hormones. And Dr Colbert’s new Thyroid Zone and Hormone Zone products have been making a big difference in the lives of my customers.  Here is a little more information about each of those products:

Divine Health Hormone Zone Product is a 3-in-1 supplement designed to support your hormone levels and help you reach your health goals. It combines three powerful nutrients in their most effective dosages and forms: vitamin D3, vitamin K2, and Diindolylmethane (DIM).

Together, these powerful ingredients work to promote:

  • healthy hormone levels throughout adulthood
  • optimal estrogen ratios and testosterone levels
  • bone density and reduced risk of fractures
  • dental health
  • immune function
  • cardiovascular health
  • healthy skin
  • daily energy
  • healthy weight

In combination, vitamin D3, vitamin K2, and DIM support hormone health and overall wellness. Here’s how each serving will work for you:

1000 IU of Vitamin D3.

Vitamin D3 is a prohormone, or a nutrient that is readily converted to its hormone form in the body. It is extremely important for myriad of health functions, including calcium regulation, mental health, immune function, healthy bones and teeth, and metabolism. The vast majority of adults who don’t supplement are low in vitamin D3. When it’s deficient, they may experience more infections and illness, lower bone density, cardiovascular disease, and mental illnesses and disorders like depression.

Studies also show that people who have low vitamin D levels are more likely to be obese. Researchers have found that vitamin D helps regulate other hormones, including adrenaline, noradrenaline (also called norepinepherine), dopamine production in the brain, and serotonin. Healthy vitamin D levels are important for bone health, metabolism, hormone balance, and an overall healthy body. Vitamin D3 is the most effective form.

100 g Vitamin K2

Vitamin K2, or menaquinone, is found in animal foods and fermented foods. Unlike Vitamin K1, K2 is often deficient in adults. It’s often overlooked as an important nutrient, but it’s becoming clear that it K2 has many specific, important functions in the body.

Vitamin K2 is extremely important for bone health, especially in post-menopausal women. Supplementing vitamin K2 and vitamin D together may reduce spinal fractures, hip fractures, and osteoporosis. Further, vitamin K2 supports good dental health from infancy into advanced age.

150 mg Diindolylmethane (DIM)

Diindolylmethane (DIM) is an important compound produced by our bodies when we eat cruciferous vegetables. If you’ve ever heard the advice to eat more greens to lower breast risk, it’s due to the resulting production of DIM.

Now, you can also supplement it to increase its benefits. DIM alters the metabolism of estrogen in order to help our bodies balance hormones. Estrogen levels and function can change in both women and men as we age. Some experience estrogen dominance (elevated estrogen relative to other hormones) and others experience loss of testosterone and progesterone.

DIM can help by blocking an enzyme that converts testosterone to estrogen. This is a great first step towards hormone balance. Second, DIM converts “bad estrogens,” into good estrogen metabolites. Bad estrogens are those that cause most pre-menstrual and menopause symptoms including fat gain, cramping, acne, low energy, and more. They are also found in higher levels in those with breast cancer. Good estrogens promote leaner bodies with more muscle, high quality collagen in connective tissues, healthy bone density, and good cholesterol levels. DIM encourages estrogens to metabolize to the beneficial forms while deterring negative forms.

Thyroid Zone supports:

  • Optimal Thyroid Hormone Production
  • T4 to T3 Conversion
  • Thyroid Hormone Activation
  • Balanced Iodine Levels
  • Optimal Thyroid Enzymes And Function
  • Protection of the Thyroid From Oxidative Stress
  • Weight Loss
  • Healthy Metabolism
  • Balanced Energy

Thyroid Zone’s balanced formula will ensure that you consume the right amount of each nutrient, not too much or too little. It takes out the guesswork and delivers what your thyroid needs to stay healthy.

Each serving packs a punch of important minerals, vitamins, and herbs that are crucial to healthy thyroid function. These include:

Iodine. Your body simply needs iodine to make enough thyroid hormone. Thyroid Zone provides 150 mcg, 100% of your iodine needs. Iodine deficiency can lead to hypothyroidism, weight gain, fat gain, fatigue, sluggish metabolism and more.

Selenium. By weight, the thyroid contains more selenium than any other organ, and Thyroid Zone supplies a whopping 200 mg selenium (286% of daily needs). Selenium is required to properly convert T4 into T3, activating thyroid hormone. Selenium also protects the thyroid gland from oxidative stress and damage. It decreases symptoms and risk of Hashimoto’s Disease.

Selenium maintains the balance of iodine in the thyroid; without it, unrestricted iodine levels would lead to destruction of the thyroid gland cells.

Zinc. Zinc supports both T3 and T4 levels and the conversion of T4 to T3. This important pathway is required for activating thyroid hormone.

Copper. Copper deficiency can affect the hypothalamus, leaving it unable to regulate thyroid hormone effectively. Copper deficiency is associated with low T3 levels. It also plays a role in the metabolism of tyrosine, which is a precursor of T4.

Vitamins A, D3, and B12: These vitamins decrease your risk of thyroid disease and neurological damage. What’s more, they support energy production and vitality. Most people with low thyroid function are also deficient in these important vitamins.

Ashwagandha extract. This amazing herb supports thyroid function by decreasing thyroid stimulating hormone and increasing T3 levels.

Dr Don ColbertGuggul extract. Guggel is a natural gum resin that supports thyroid health. It has been shown to significantly increased iodine uptake, T3 resin uptake, protein bound iodine, and free T4 levels in thyroid tissue. It also reduces hepatic oxidative stress and supports balanced hormone health.

Coleus Forskohlii. Coleus Forskohlii improves low thyroid function by activating enzymes in the thyroid, increasing levels of T3 and balancing T4.

L-Tyrosine, Schizandra, Kelp, Bladderwrack, and Cayenne all further support thyroid function by supplying needed precursors to T4, supplying natural iodine, improving metabolism, and supporting important thyroid enzymes and cells.
